Daniel completed his orthopaedic training in Victoria and has completed three distinguished international shoulder fellowships in Oxford (England), Rennes (France) and Milan (Italy) and instruction in hip arthroplasty in Zurich (Switzerland).

In his public appointment at Western Health, Daniel is Deputy Head of Orthopaedics (Clinical) enabling leading teams and instructing future Australian surgeons. He has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals and has presented at both national and international orthopaedic meetings.

William Pianta is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hip, Knee and Shoulder surgery. He takes a holistic approach to his patients’ orthopaedic concerns, evaluating each patient within the framework of their individual medical and social circumstances.

William completed his orthopaedic training in Victoria and has also accomplished a Trauma Fellowship at Western Health, a renowned Hip and Knee Replacement Fellowship in Canada and subspecialty training in shoulder surgery in the USA and Europe.

Ben Johnson completed his science, medical and orthopaedic training in London, United Kingdom. He further completed his Paediatric Orthopaedic fellowship training in Australia at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Melbourne. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons of Australia (FRACS) and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Society (AOA).

Ben has multiple publications in peer review journals and has published book chapters. In his appointments at the Monash Children’s Hospital and Joan Kirner Women and Children’s Hospital, Ben is involved in instructing and leading trainee orthopaedic surgeons.

Dr David Sime is a Melbourne-trained consultant orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in hip and knee joint replacements; sports knee surgery including arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction; and upper and lower limb trauma in adults and children.

David has completed a Masters of Surgery with first class honours through the University of Edinburgh, and has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals. He also has ongoing involvement in the training of future orthopaedic surgeons through his public appointments at Alfred Health (Sandringham Hospital) and Peninsula Health (Frankston Hospital).
